How To Look For A True Witch, High Priestess, High Priest!
Things to look for when searching for your teacher....
So many Seekers ask me for referrals that we must warn that many people bill themselves as Witches and teachers of Witchcraft are to be avoided, If someone you meet claims to be a High Priestess or High Priest, but sets off your inner alarm bells, proceed with extreme caution - the may be A PELLAR!
No matter where you live, the rising popularity of Witchcraft inevitably brings with it som posers - "wanna-blessed-bes" who proclaim themselves Witches, but act so contrary to the most basic Craft ethics that they end up personally threatening the very continuance of the Craft in your area. The phenomenon of scoundrels profiting by pretending to be Witches is so old, there's a Traditional Craft name for them....PELLARS.
Luckily, you can easily identify PELLARS by their actions, as me and other High Priestesses and Priests have learned through experience: PELLARS try to make names for themselves by slandering honest Witches.
They thrive on sowing Community discord, spreading lies and vicious rumors about others, more experienced covens. They may plagiarize a well-known coven's name...or publish stolen teaching materials (which I had done to me) in an effort to appropriate respectable coven's notoriety for themselves.
Pellars are unscrupulous-where as true Witches refuse to charge money for teaching magick..(its a violation of our ethics). Pellars usually charge substantial fees for their classed on Witchcraft, etc. Yet you'll find their teachings to be shallow and unsatisfying, (Especially when they teach from a book and not from wisdom Acquired) and frequently plagiarized from their own brief exposure to authentic teachers, or popular books. Pellars can't be trusted. Some of them are thieves, taking what they can from your town or you before moving on to an other. Many are ustable.
Such vehemence "against their own" repulses the public-who thought Witches were supposedly tolerant. In Wicca, talk is cheap, but deeds are dear. Wise Ones learn to avoid people who claim to be Witches, but expend their precious energy by needlessly, baselessly basjomg others.
For all their black clothes and boasting about their own magickal prowess, such ilk are nowhere to be found when the rest of us are battling on the fron lines to defend our-and their-reljigious freedoms.
Look to the source, for that's how you'll know them. If they say thar are a High Priestess or Priest who initiated them? Into what Trdition? If they say they are a teacher, then who taught them? It bodes most ill if you find out that their own parent coven has reculed them. Please understand that I alert all in this public mediun with natural reluctance. I do so only from a protective stance towards the Craft and with the desire to warn others about the harm such people leave in their wake. I for one do not consider them to be a true Witch or anything concerning our Religion.
How To Spot A Fake Witch/Wiccan PT 2....
Spotting fakes that call themselves wiccan/witch.Are you as tired as me of having all these fake so called wiccan/witches, warlock/druids, wiccan/druid, wiccan high priestess/druid, warlock/druids psychic/wiccan, psychic/witches.... So are a lot of people... here are some of the things to look for.
If they say they are a high priestess but the picture of them is someone very young, then they are not real.If they say that a spell they are casting for you will take 100 - 400 hours of casting they are not real, you,do the math, do you know how many days they would have to stay in a cast and sealed circle (with no sleep, eating, pottie breaks etc.) to do this....
If they claim that the spells are in different levels such as silver, gold, or platinum, they are not real, spells are not like credit cards they don't come in colours...
If they claim that they are psychic yet they can cast spells for you...that is not real...being psychic has nothing to do with the art of spell casting. If they claim that they are the most powerful in the country or the world....they are not real.
If they ask you to wait 90 days before saying the spell dosen't work, they are not real...remember you can't leave neg feedback after 90 days.
If they 100% guarantee that the spell works every time....they are not real... Even the most skilled spell caster sometimes has an off day.If they claim that they are from a long line of witches or wiccans...sorry that has nothing to do with their ability to cast a spell. If you see someone selling spells from wicca~ witch~druid~voodoo~etc. and they themselves are not any of these, they are fake.
If they claim to be a warlock/druid or a wiccan/druid they are fake, there is no such thing. Druids are Druids and we do not have warlocks, male witches are witches. Warlock means traitor and liar and to call a male witch a warlock is to insult him.
If they say they are from Druid coven walk away, Druids have orders not covens.Druids, do not let outsiders take part in scared ceremonies no matter how friendly you are with them. And the only ceremonies taking place on the solstice are scared ceremonies at midnight on the solstice, not for casting spells on trinkets to be sold on ebay.
If they are selling spells that will inhance natures assets on men, or woman, SORRY,... BUT NO SPELL can enlarge a body part....A REAL WICCAN, WITCH, DRUID,, WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS,..BEFORE YOU BUY ONE OF THEIR SPELLS....AND WILL NOT GIVE YOU ALL THE WILD CLAIMS...AS SEEN BY SOME.
We Do Not Give Spells Away That Easily
